NCAA Eligibility Center
Preparing Student-Athletes for College Athletics
For cadets interested in competing in NCAA Division I or Division II athletics, planning should begin early in high school. The NCAA Eligibility Center determines whether prospective student-athletes meet the academic and amateurism requirements necessary to compete at the collegiate level.
The NCAA implements strict eligibility guidelines through core course requirements, recruitment periods, player and coach communication, etc. NCAA.org is the best resource for information and explanations on eligibility.
The College Placement and Academic Services Office works with student-athletes, families, coaches, and college admissions representatives to help navigate the NCAA eligibility process.
